Why LevelOut Academy
The LevelOut Academy Reformer Pilates Teacher Training Course bridges an industry gap we observed: qualified instructors completing courses but lacking the confidence to teach group classes effectively.
Our comprehensive program gives you the tools needed to confidently deliver inclusive, dynamic and engaging group classes.
Covering vast reformer Pilates repertoire, anatomy, biomechanics and thorough teaching techniques for confident cueing and effective class planning, the course consists of eight in-person days across four weekends.
Upon completion, you'll be assessed via assignments, theory exam and in-person teach back. Successful completion certifies you as a reformer Pilates instructor.
You Instructors
Deirdre
I'm Deirdre (she/her), an ex-professional dancer turned Pilates instructor, originally from Sydney, Australia. With over 13 years of teaching experience across various fields, my practice bridges my interests in creativity and human biomechanics. I'm always diving into the latest research to make complex movement concepts accessible and engaging. Rooted in a values-based approach, I believe in the power of community and education. Through my work as Studio Lead at Blackhorse Rd and my London-based business Pilates & Pals, I’m committed to forging meaningful connections that go beyond physical exercise—nurturing both community and the relationships we build with our bodies and each other.
Megan
As a professionally trained dancer, my love for movement began at a young age. I discovered Pilates as a way to condition my body alongside dance, and it quickly became an important tool to deepen my understanding of anatomy and alignment. As an Aussie, my classes are energetic and dynamic, yet with a focus on control, form, and technique. I motivate clients to move with purpose and intention, creating a strong connection between mind and body. My aim is to foster an open, supportive environment where learning is encouraged - offering both modifications and progressions so everyone can work at a level that feels right for them. You’ll likely leave feeling challenged, empowered, and proud of what you’ve accomplished.
Tommy
I trained as a reformer instructor in London in 2019 and have been coaching for some of London’s top studios ever since. I attribute a lot of my teaching style to having been a professional dancer for a number of years. My classes are high energy with a focus on form, technique, and precision. My approach to any reformer session is to say yes and just ride the wave. I believe that every time you step into the studio your body feels and moves differently, and in turn, I encourage intuitive movement to get the most out of the practice.
Linda
With a background in ballet and contemporary dance across Europe, Linda brings serious expertise - and a touch of Italian sass - to every session. Her teaching focuses on alignment, core strength, and form that actually feels good, all tailored to the people in front of her.
