The LevelOut Postnatal Course is designed for exactly where you are right now - early days of recovery, a baby in your arms, and a body that deserves real support. Our reformer Pilates programme guides you back to strength progressively and safely, with expert instructors, a built-in childcare assistant, and a community of mums at the same stage as you.
No rushing. No pressure. Just consistent, supported progress - and somewhere that's just for you.
The Programme
Phase 1 - Start here
Foundation
An 8-week programme that supports your body through every stage of early postpartum recovery. We progressively rebuild your strength, stability, and flexibility — at exactly the pace your body needs.
Phase 2 - Phase 1 graduates only
Progression
An intermediate-level course for those who’ve completed Phase 1 with us. We build on your foundations established in Phase 1, helping you to progress and improve your strength, stability and posture - leveling you up a notch!
Phase 2 is not suitable for beginners or anyone who hasn't completed Phase 1 with LevelOut.
Every Phase includes:
- Bespoke 8-week programme for post-birth recovery
- 2x weekly reformer classes (For Brixton & Blackheath only: 1x strength class/week with 1x reformer)
- Qualified & caring pre/postnatal instructors
- 1 childcare assistant per session offering light support
- Same group of mums each week working together
The class setup
Your instructor
All our Postnatal instructors hold specific pre/postnatal qualifications. They know your body is in recovery mode. Every session is designed around that.
Childcare assistant
Our assistant is there to help soothe and entertain little ones so you can focus - though you're always right there with your baby. They don't assist with feeding, changing, or personal care, and parents remain responsible for their child at all times.
If your baby needs you, pause and tend to them - it's completely part of the journey.
Strength class
Available at Brixton and Blackheath in place of a second reformer session. A weights-based class focused on rebuilding core strength, pelvic floor, and major muscle groups; with full modifications for wherever you're at.
Small cohort format
You'll be with the same group of mums every week which means genuine connection, not just parallel exercising. Many of our cohorts carry on meeting long after the course ends.
Requirements
- You must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and have completed your 6-week check with your doctor.
- Your baby must not yet be crawling. Once they're on the move, they've essentially decided they run the studio, and honestly, we're not ready for that ;)
- Please let us know in advance of any post-birth complications; we'll make sure you're properly supported.
